Learning Through Everyday Play
Move between screen activities and real objects.
Make the idea tangible
After a counting game, try large blocks or rolled socks. After a shape game, find a sturdy round plate. Count, compare or arrange objects together without rushing.
Take turns
Model one short action, then offer your child a turn. Pointing, gestures and asking for help all count as participation. Do not score feelings, obedience or storytelling.
Stay nearby
Read the safety note for each screen-free idea. Choose large age-appropriate materials, keep small parts away from children who mouth objects and supervise scissors, glue, water and outdoor play.
